WA Opera's production of Puccini's TOSCA was simulcast into Kununurra this week thanks to the partnership between the Kununurra Community Resource Centre and the Kununurra Picture Gardens.
| Approximately 20 people attended the event held at the Picture Gardens on a cloudy, stormy, coolish wet season evening to enjoy the WA Opera's Opera in the Park Tosca. Wine, cheese and able cloths graced the camping tables and camping chairs were dusted off to make for the best seat in the state, under the Kimberley night sky to enjoy this free community event. Everyone had a lovely evening, according to long time Kununurra resident Kaye Ireland, "It's great to have an opportunity to experience something like the Opera in Kununurra, we're looking forward to many more." |
