| As part of our latest school holiday activities we held a sewing morning in January. This session was made possible by the very talented (and slightly obsessed) quilter / seamstress Jenine, volunteering her time to help out as sewing is definitely out of the range of skills for the team currently working for the CRC! Jenine helped to teach our dedicated group of budding sewers how to make a little Christmas pouch for an array of Christmas goodies to be stored in and gifted. These young ladies did an excellent job at listening and practicing their sewing and, from all accounts it was a really fun event for them. By coming to the CRC these girls were given a chance to get to know their machines, and grow their sewing skills and love for sewing. |
