Having a flutter is seen by many people as intrinsically Australian and around 70 per cent of Australians participate in some form of gambling. However, over 110,000 Australians are classified as ‘problem gamblers’ while a further 280,000 are considered to be at moderate risk. This thought-provoking short film documents a 12 month program aimed towards addressing the issue of problem gambling in the Western Australian Community. It brings into the open, an issue that – unlike other forms of addiction - is rarely discussed and often veiled in secrecy.

The Community Resource Centre has been supporting Kununurra for almost 25 years; we are very happy and proud to provide all the services to our local and visiting customers and will continue to help everyone when needed.
Upon a recent budgeting exercise we have come to the conclusion that to continue to provide the range of quality services, we need to increase our fees and charges.
We hope our customers can understand the need for the increase, as we have maintained our current prices for almost 10 years without change.
We will be introducing the new charges on the 5th of September. Thank you for your support; we couldn't do this without you!
The Kununurra Community Resource Centre has been serving the community of Kununurra since 1994.
