SERIES 1 Suitable for parents of babies 3 - 12 months WEDNESDAYS 8:30 - 10:00am Sleep and the First Year What changes in patterns can parents expect in this age group. How and why do babies react to particular settling strategies. Moving on to Solids When do babies need extra foods in their diets, and what are the best foods to choose? What can be expected as babies begin to experience this new food stage. Brain Development and Play What are the key elements to building a child’s brain? Play, nutrition and positive relationships will be explored. New Baby plus Toddler How can parents make time for everyone’s needs and wants when there are two or more little people in the household? How can parents prepare for this stage. | SERIES 2 Suitable for parents of toddlers 1 - 2 years Sleep Challenges Toddlers lead a busy life! But may still need help to achieve a good night’s sleep. Parent’s learn how transitions around this age group impact on sleep and settling. Nutrition Needs Explores the important elements in a child’s daily intake of calories from food and drink now they are depending less on milk and beginning to eat a range of family foods. Play and Behaviour How does a toddler’s endless drive to play and explore fit in with a parent’s plan for the day? Conflicting agenda’s can lead to both challenging and adorable behaviours! Toilet Time All toddler’s are different in their stages of readiness for toileting. How do parents know when the time is right to initiate the transition from nappies to pants without leaving it too late? |
Places are limited for each of the sessions - please register via the signup form - places will be allocated on a first in first served basis, your place is not confirmed until you have received an email from the CRC stating you have a spot. Subsequent registrants will be waitlisted, it is imperative that if you have a position and then can't make it that you advise us to allow us to fill the spaces with those on the waitlist. |
