Last month we had a few hiccups with the Picture Gardens Projector, so that meant that our scheduled screening of Noel Coward’s play (as performed by the Black Swan State Theatre Company) had to be screened at the CRC instead of on the big screen at the Picture Gardens. That didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the attendees though, who all came along and enjoyed the night of theatre, some were surprised by how much they enjoyed the production. |
Before the Westlink simulcast began, we screened some short films that had been produced by our local Media Students from Kununurra District High School, and while the genre’s were not necessarily fully commensurate with the genre of the production, all viewers commented on the wonderful talent we are fostering at our local high school. It was also a lovely way to introduce some new people to the CRC’s facilities in the break. |
